- Outline the steps to prepare a weld for a liquid (dye) penetrant inspection.
- Explain how to apply a liquid penetrant cleaner to prepare a weld for a liquid (dye) penetrant inspection.
- Explain how to apply a liquid penetrant developer on a weld to complete a liquid (dye) penetrant inspection.
- Explain how to perform the post-cleaning of the tested weld area.
- State the documentation requirements for a liquid (dye) penetrant inspection.
- Define "Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOCs)" and describe the proper reactions to the identified conditions as they relate to penetrant inspections.
